Kate Bush: Aerial (2005)
This album was released for the first time in 12 years. My first impression is expressed by the three words: simple, warm, calm. Unnecessary sound may be cut in this album, but low tones (featuring didgeridoo) and environment noises generate warm and calm scenes. The eccentricity in her voice is reduced, but she got warmness and calmness, keeping her clear-cut sound.
After many days, this album keeps me sitting on the front of speakers in the dark.
The Orb: OKIE DOKIE THE ORB IT'S ON KOMPAKT (2005)
I'll evaluate this album later.

BOARDS OF CANADA: the campfire headphase (2005)
This is the psychedelic music. The flickering and high quality lo-fi sound flows again. Dislike their previous work, the sound is bright as the light-green sleeve. The melody causing fear disappers, but dazzling waves reach me slowly. Their work did not disappoint me once more.
Mogwai: Happy Song for Happy People (2003)
Tender Melody continues to be played from their 3rd album. I think that a part of their sound inherits Pink Floyd. I expect to listen to their 4th album just like expanding 'Atom Heart Mother' and 'Echoes'.
Into My iPod (Beth Gibbons, Fennesz) ― 2005年09月04日 16:18
Beth Gibbons & Rustin Man: Out of Season (2002)
Beth Gibbons is a member of Portishead. In this album, her vocal is cold and emotional as in the works of Portishead, however is warmer and calmer. The color of this album shows it. All the trembles in her voice makes me comfort. Just like Theremin.
Fennesz: Endless Summer (2001)
Sequence of noises with melody. Or melodies played with noises. As expected from the title of this album, noises are not sharp but dull and melancholic. The Japanese version of the cover design is not good. Especially, strings of the title should be removed.

- Queen: INNUENDO (1991)
The last album that Freddie Mercury created as a member of Queen. I haven't recognized this work was good yet, because the dynamics and energy of their sound was lose. Will I understand the good point of this work someday?
WITH TEETH by NINE INCH NAILS ― 2005年05月29日 13:15
Music that is made with computer. I think he is looking for psychedelic sound that nobody has ever listened to, and he will find. I like his attitude.
The quality of sound is cared about very much as his previous works. It brings me comfort. Moreover, the feeling of sound is cared about too, just like techno music. So I'm sorry his voice, especially his shout. His feeling was expressed enough without it in his works.
But I took to this album. The best moment is the echo of the piano in the last tune. The echo reminded me of Echoes by Pink Floyd. Off course, it is different from that of Pink Floyd. But I can feel some images from their works.
