Beth Gibbons & Rustin Man: Out of Season (2002)
Beth Gibbons is a member of Portishead. In this album, her vocal is cold and emotional as in the works of Portishead, however is warmer and calmer. The color of this album shows it. All the trembles in her voice makes me comfort. Just like Theremin.
Fennesz: Endless Summer (2001)
Sequence of noises with melody. Or melodies played with noises. As expected from the title of this album, noises are not sharp but dull and melancholic. The Japanese version of the cover design is not good. Especially, strings of the title should be removed.

At a flower bed in the neighborhood.
I took a walk without my bicycle today, because I sent my bicycle to Hokkaido for my trip in the next week. Thanks to a shower, it was cool in the evening.
Drops of the shower were beautiful for my eyes, so I took many pictures of them. This picture is one of the results (, although most of the pictures did not satisfied me).

I've gone to Biei, Hokkaido on my summer vacation. I've just come back home.
Main aims on this trip were:
- To take pictures of trees and sky in Biei
- To roam meadow by my bicycle
I'll submit some pictures of this trip in the next several articles.
This shot was taken at Asahikawa air port. Under the cloudy sky, I had to wait for a bus to Biei city for two hours, because September for Biei was out of season.

On the morning of the second day in Biei.
The building behind flowers is Kita Biei station. There is no employee in the station. I'm sorry that I could not see a running train. But no train and no employee are suitable for Biei.

At a meadow along Panorama Road in Biei.
The yellow rolls of grass reminded me of fall. But the blue sky and the field of cone were like summer. My bicycle ran through the refreshing air. I was satisfied that I had come here.
